ARRIVAL
Please arrive at camp no earlier than 4:00 pm. The camp is located at the very end of a dead end street and has two entrances on the left. Please use the first entrance and drive down to the Program Center to let us know you have arrived.

CHECK-IN

Check-in will take place in the Program Center Foyer from 7:30 PM until 8:45 PM on Friday. If you have not checked in by 8:45 pm you will have to wait until after opening ceremonies to check-in. No Exceptions. Late check-in can be performed at the Soulforge after lay-on.

DEPARTURE
Be prepared to leave the game site on Sunday. We will hold closing ceremonies at around Noon in the Program Center.
PARKING AND DRIVING ON CAMP
After you have stowed your belongings please park your vehicle in the grassy field near the entrance. It is called UNICORN MEADOW on the map. Vehicles should not be driven into camp after Lay-On has been called. When driving on camp please remember the speed limit is a HARD 10 mph. This is to ensure your safety and the safety of anyone who is walking on the road.

If you are leaving early or arriving late, please plan accordingly to carry your gear to and from the parking lot. If you need to drive on to camp at any other time, please find Adam at the event and speak with him first.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PARKING: Near the Cabins and at the rear of the Program Center, please avoid pulling into the grass, even if it is just to unload. This is per the Ranger's instructions. The rule to remember for pulling off the road, or on the sidewalk area in front of the Program Center, is to keep 2 tires on the gravel or pavement. If you get stuck anywhere on camp, DO NOT try to force yourself out. Please find Adam so that we can organize a group to push you out, or contact the Ranger to pull you out with his tractor.

New Players

Please make plans to attend opening announcements and be in costume at Lay-On. Your First Dream will take place immediately after the game starts and you don't want to miss out! New Players who are arriving late to the event will be brought into the world by an available storyteller at the time they check in.
  • NEW PLAYER TRAINING: New Players should plan to be in the Program Center Dining Room (Lush) for new player training at about 8:30 PM. Please check in early so you have time to attend.

Sleeping Arrangements

FULL SERVICE BUILDINGS
Players may sleep in Blue Heron, Seagull, and Star Lodge. Please do not sleep in closets or hallways as this is a fire hazard. Please be aware that if you choose to sleep in these buildings that you may need to coordinate with groups sleeping in other sites for use of the kitchen areas.  All of our buildings are heated.

Space is limited this month; if you're sleeping on a full/queen sized air mattress, we expect you to sleep two people. Otherwise, we may request you to use camp mats if space becomes an issue.

  • Blue Heron & Seagull Cabin: These buildings are almost identical and adjacent to each other. They each have a common area, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, and indoor bathrooms. Kitchens have stoves, microwaves, and refrigerators. The buildings have approximate space for 32 people combined.
  • Star Lodge: Both floors are available for player use, as logistics will be entirely in the Program Center.
  • Program Center: There is no sleeping space inside the Program Center.

ADIRONDACK AND PLATFORM TENTS
You are more than welcome to sleep in these sites or bushwhack a space for your own tent.
Sleeping arrangements are provided on a first come, first serve basis. You may only reserve one other bed or sleeping space at this event for players who have not yet arrived on camp.

Other Amenities

USE OF KITCHENS
The Program Center Kitchen is off-limits except to Catalyst Staff, Kitchen Staff, or individuals who normally operate Lush during regular events. The Cabin Kitchens may still be used normally. As always, please be courteous to others and clean up when you are done using the space.

SHOWERS

There are 6 showers available in Seagull, Blue Heron, and the Program Center (2 each), and one more in Star Lodge. Please always leave these areas cleaner than you found them.
