ARRIVAL
Please arrive at camp no earlier than 4:00 pm. The camp is located at the very end of a dead end street and has two entrances on the left. Please use the first entrance and drive down to the Program Center to let us know you have arrived. CHECK-IN Check-in will take place in the Program Center Foyer from 7:30 PM until 8:45 PM on Friday. If you have not checked in by 8:45 pm you will have to wait until after opening ceremonies to check-in. No Exceptions. Late check-in can be performed at the Soulforge after lay-on. DEPARTURE Be prepared to leave the game site on Sunday. We will hold closing ceremonies at around Noon in the Program Center. PARKING AND DRIVING ON CAMP
After you have stowed your belongings please park your vehicle in the grassy field near the entrance. It is called UNICORN MEADOW on the map. Vehicles should not be driven into camp after Lay-On has been called. When driving on camp please remember the speed limit is a HARD 10 mph. This is to ensure your safety and the safety of anyone who is walking on the road. If you are leaving early or arriving late, please plan accordingly to carry your gear to and from the parking lot. If you need to drive on to camp at any other time, please find Adam at the event and speak with him first. IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PARKING: Near the Cabins and at the rear of the Program Center, please avoid pulling into the grass, even if it is just to unload. This is per the Ranger's instructions. The rule to remember for pulling off the road, or on the sidewalk area in front of the Program Center, is to keep 2 tires on the gravel or pavement. If you get stuck anywhere on camp, DO NOT try to force yourself out. Please find Adam so that we can organize a group to push you out, or contact the Ranger to pull you out with his tractor. |
New PlayersPlease make plans to attend opening announcements and be in costume at Lay-On. Your First Dream will take place immediately after the game starts and you don't want to miss out! New Players who are arriving late to the event will be brought into the world by an available storyteller at the time they check in.
