Outdoor Xtreme Chesapeake City
2941 Old Telegraph Rd,
Chesapeake City, MD 21915
New for this year, everyone attending will need to fill out a Liability waiver for the paintball site. Everyone PLEASE make sure you fill this out prior to the event!
OXCC will be operating normally (paintball, speedball, etc) on the part of the property we will not be using. While we will have relative privacy for the weekend, please be respectful and courteous to other people not associated with Catalyst that you may encounter. If a member of their field staff asks you to do something, please give them the same courtesy you would give to us.
Base price is $35 and you can buy up to 3 AP. Everyone will receive a Blanket Bonus AP of 2 on top of whatever your characters would normally get for attendance. You can pre-reg for the event here: https://www.dreamlarp.com/store/c4/Special_Events.html
There are no required NPC shifts this month, but we have excellent benefits for volunteers! If you paid for the event, you can get 10 Soul Stones and 200 Service for every hour spent NPCing. FTNPC (attending free) gets 40 Soul Stones and 1500 service for the day. All Soul Stones earned in this way can be immediately redeemed for AP per the normal limits of AP redemption.
Species that require full make-up can choose to disguise themselves as other species from any realm. This is strictly offered for the OOG meta reason that we do not have access to showers.
ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE
We do not have access to the camp at all on Friday; please do not show up prior to Saturday morning. Players will be allowed to camp on site Saturday night through Sunday morning.
CHECK-IN, LAY ON, and LAY OFF
Check-in will be from 8 AM to 10 AM on Saturday morning. As soon as you are finished Check-In you will be sent to an In-Game area where the Soulforge is waiting. Late arrivals should find the nearest staff member for direction if there is no one at the check in table when they arrive.
Final Hold will be called late on Saturday night.
USE OF THE CAMP and PARKING
We will be using the Camping Area of the site. To park: when you arrive at the fields, follow signs for the camping area and turn right just before their office (the beige trailer). Cones will be set up on either side of the road where cars can be parked in single rows. Please do not double park or drive more than a car length into the fields.
SLEEPING and SITE AMENITIES
Sleeping arrangements are tent camping only after lay off Saturday night. There are no power outlets on the campsite.
You may bring your own grills for cooking, but there are no grills or kitchen access provided. The concession stand will be open, but their menu varies by the weekend. At minimum, they have food in the range of Hot Dogs and Nachos, but more options will likely be available because of a tournament they are running that weekend. Middletown is less than 15 minutes away with a Walmart, Food Lion, and tons of restaurants, and all the usual fast food places.
Facilities are limited to port-o-potties; we will not have access to showers.
