A flood swept the Dreaming, crushing mountains and burying continents beneath leagues of smoke and water. For centuries, the surviving denizens struggled for existence. They passed down the legend of the Dreamwalkers -- people from other realms who, imbued with power, fought on behalf of the Dreaming.
