Between dreams, your character can continue their story in the waking world. A Journal Entry can be submitted in any form, such as a paragraph, a short story, or even as a role-play transcript between you and others players. It's generally safe to assume that an amount of time equal to the actual days between events has passed. Exceptionally long entries or those that include pictures, drawings, or special formatting can be submitted directly to catalystlarp.characters@gmail.com

Journal Entries should be a scene about your character, or a conversation that you might have with NPCs. They may also be Roleplay between you and other players. In these entries, you may decide the fate of your character or the NPCs you create, as long as all parties involved are unanimously agreed. (Note: A GM still has the ability to override certain factors such as the inclusion of established NPCs, important figures, towns/cities, or dreamworld entities). Journal Entries are a canvas to tell us more about your character or how they fit into the world they come from. We do not normally respond to them, but will keep them and reference them at future events.

Lastly, Journal Entries may take place in the Dreamworld as part of a Lucid Dream and therefore between characters from different realms.

Journal Entries can be submitted at any time, even if you have not attended the most recent event.
