This is an Event Backbuy. Your character gains an additional event attended and all AP or Prestige rewards associated with normal attendance without being physically present at the event.
Event Backbuying can be used for any event from the previous season. This does not allow you to "double buy" an event and you can't buy events that preceded your first event attended.
